Synopsis:

The Pink Palace II

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and if that woman is Nikki Bell, than that means everyone better jump outta the way.

After giving up dancing at The Pink Palace and settling down with her family, Nikki believed she could have a normal life. She was wrong, and now her past is back to haunt her. After things start to go downhill fast, she learns that notorious drug dealer and the new owner of The Pink Palace, Malachi Turner, is the man responsible for destroying her new life. Nikki has no choice but to confront him.

Malachi gives Nikki a dire choice: come back and dance for him or suffer the deadly consequences.

Nikki, desperate for a way out, meets a stripper named Jasmine, a bad girl with a history of mischief and mayhem. The two of them challenge each other to a fierce battle to be the number one moneymaker at The Pink Palace, with drama to spare. When the truth is revealed to Nikki about the reasons why her life took a tailspin, she has no choice but to make uneasy alliances in order to bring Malachi down and escape his grasp.

The question she will ask herself: How far is she willing to go in order to get her life back?

    One Word: Fiyah!!

Marlon did it again y’all!! This second installment of Pink Palace took me for a ride! Up until the last minute I had no idea of what to expect as an ending for this book. I have to admit I’m glad it ended on a good note though. I’m so over horrific endings. This book was definitely unpredictable, fast past and drew me in from start to finish. I finish in one day!! Marlon you have not disappointed me yet! Even though From Vixen 2 Diva is still my favorite book. PP2 certainly gave it a run for its money! And if writing doesn’t work out for this author then being a lyricist should be his next career. All the lyrical content is this book could sure hold it down wit some of hiphops heavy hitters. Marlon keep em coming, cause as long as you keep writing that fiyah you’ll always have a fan in me.

    Marlon has done it again!

This was a sequel worth waiting for. In this one Nikki is the lead character. Nikki loves Dre so much that she is willing to do anything for him including going back to The Pink Palace. She is forced to go back to The Palace by Malachi is becomes kind of obsessed with Nikki. The Pink Palace also brings to light Jasmine. Jasmine reminds me of the old Nikki in The Pink Palace 1. Jasmine will do anything for a dollar. The Pink Palace still is the place where sex, money, violence and drama lives.

    GIMME SOME MORE!!!
    By Ms. Thing!

This review is from: The Pink Palace II

Usually sequels don’t live up to the first book and recycle the same old storylines that have been already done in the first book. Or somebody that died in the first through some twisted miracle comes back from the dead. Or the publisher is just trying to gorge the readers for more money by making a sequel that wasn’t needed in the first place. The Pink Palace II was NONE of the above! I loved this book and couldn’t put it down I swear!

Now this book brings back Nikki Bell as the lead character in this book three years later and she’s very different then she was in the first book. She’s matured a lot and has settled into family life with her new son and man Dre. Dre being an ex drug dealer in the first book has unfinished business that comes back to haunt all of them. Nikki is forced to make hard choices in order to protect her love ones.

The new bitch in town is called Jasmine. She’s the new improved Nikki (stripper) at the Pink Palace now making money and turning everybody out! When her and Nikki come face to face it’s almost like looking into a mirror for Nikki. Jasmine sees Nikki as a rival for her top spot and goes in! At first I didn’t like this h-o-e but as the book goes on you see another side of her and she plays a vital role in the end.

Malachi Turner is an arrogant evil Jamaican drug lord who runs the Pink Palace now. He’s was so full of himself but was fun to read. I will never look at Dark and Lovely kiddy Relaxer the same because of him! (You’ll have to read the book to know what I mean) He’s a beast in this book. Murder, blackmail, and a god complex all rolled into one. I like that the Jamaican accent was there but not too over the top too.

And for fans of the first book even though Janelle/Mo’Nique is not the lead girl she still makes a few cameos along with Jayson Harper. But I like the fact that Marlon didn’t mess with them and cause unnecessary drama for them just to make a part 2. Plus other cameos from his other book `From Vixen 2 Diva’ appear as well, Beata, Kane, and Ill Tech. This was an excellent well written sequel that stands on it’s own so you don’t have to read part one in order to get what’s going on in this book. PP2 gives you a complete story and no cliffhanger at the end, I just wanted more! So I’ma ask first when is part 3 coming!?!?

    yall are dum

    • Kroland19

Captain Kingshit, I know you wrote your comment (since it does not qualify for a real review) quite some time ago. It it sad to see that you cant seem to put together a cohesive thought to express why you take issue with this novel. Are you a published author of ANY genre? Have you written any thing worth reading or can you even string a series of words together to form a sentence??? It would be nice to have a real review from people like you so that real authors can have some form of serious criticism to create better work. What you have done here is simply make yourself look ignorant with an inability to get out a real thought. Try again bruh….

  • Captain Kingshit

Actually, I take that back.  Yall are really fucking dumb!  With an exclamation point.  Have you considered buying a book with smaller text?  In addition, why the fuck is this book appropriate for 13 year old kids and up?  The selfish fucks that write this shit should be ashamed of themselves.

    ps

have u considered buying a book with smaller text? if so please do and leave the triple crown books to us who loves the book rather its big or small text or any age appropriate. some of triple books don’t contain x-rated talk so there for a 13 year old can read it, also to make another point in world today kids are growing up fast by age 13, they might can relate to the books.

      p.s this
i thought it was GREAT BOOK rofl smh

LOVE TRIPLE CROWN PRODUCTIONS BEST BOOK COMPANY EVER!!!!!!

I’ve never read this ,but it seems intriguing. Although Triple Crown books are very detailed and graphic, but nowadays people at the age of 13 can relate to half of the situations these books. 13 is a humble age to understand sex and drugs to read about, Kids ( Teenagers ) today like to read books that get’s their pulse racing; and their brains thinking. These novels give off great lessons also, So 13+ isn’t a bad age to begin reading these actually very fascinating stories; in today’s society children mature faster and I’m 14…

    • Shayshaytheboss

Did you think this book was appropriate. You see a stripper on the freaking cover soo why try and read it dumbass!! WITH A EXCLAMATION MARK!

  • Toriiaaaaaaaaaaa
